What happened today was quite funny. First of all, I slept quite early last nite **Baby Mode**. At 00.30am I'd placed myself comfortably curled on my bed [it was very cold at nite!!]. Then I got this strange [a bit funny though :P] dream. It was a considerably long dream, about me going back home by becak, all the way from Singapore -_-", with luggages. My whole family welcomed me in front of our house. But when I entered the house, I felt suspicious because it was totaly different from the house I used to stay. It became tremendously huge, with lotz of rooms, and there were guests also. Then I made friends with the guests. Suddenly the plot of the story changed. The guests were actually aliens. They attacked our house, and held us hostage. When I was trying to escape, one of the aliens saved me... and I became a superhero *LOL*. I saved the whole family, and beat the aliens off the earth. But unfortunatelly, I had already infected by a strange virus brought by them. The alien who previously saved me had decided to stay on earth to take care of me. And the story ran smoothly into a romantic tale. Oh no!!! Me and the alien!!! But by chance, the alien was illustrated as a handsome guy. Lucky huh?! The story was touching, like in Japanese drama. I think my brain has been contaminated by romantic love scenes in Jap dramas. When I woke up, it was already 5.30am. Without I realised, my eyes filled with tears. Then, I checked my HP, and there was 1 SMS from my fren, sent at 00.45am asking me "Ing, have you gone sleeping?"... I was about to reply him, "I just woke up. What's up?" before I thought it would be quite garing hehe..... And I decided to continue sleeping as well as dreaming. I hoped it would be the same dream, part 2. Before I was brought to the land of dream, I imagined how the story would flow... and I folishly cried for the story I made up on myown. Hehe.... I bet my brain was not working properly >:P. I came to school with swollen eyes.
We had Advanced Materials Science II class today. The lecture theatre was very cold!! It was like being in refrigerator, very very cold. The module itself is very difficult and the lecturer seems to 'presume' that we know all the basic. Most of the lecture slides contain equations, graphics, diagrams and illustrations, without much explanation. Morover, he teaches very fast, he always explains like "this... like that, propagate to this direction, like this... hindered by that", "use this formula, derived from these relationship..." pointing here and there with his laser pointer which we don't know where it's pointing at. I was sitting in the class next to my frens. Actually we usually agglomerate together during the classes... and we were grumbling thoughout this 1 hour class. I got my forehead folded into hundreds when the lecturer explained "the interpretation through the stress field of an edge dislocation", I looked to my fren at my right hand side, he answered my face expression with even more pathetic look. Haha... we both didn't understand the subject! At just the right time, a student sat in front of us nodded her head understand. We abruptly exploded in laughter. And kept on doing that when she nodded her head. How pityful we were! or she was? Hehehe.....
In the afternoon, I met PhD student to work on some samples for my FYP. He looked great today, he wore an unusually nice shirt. When I asked him why he appeared differently, he told me that his laundered clothes were still wet because of the rain [Yeah, it has been raining frequently since last week] and he got no more 'usual' shirt to wear. Haha... no wonder!! We were chatting all along while doing the task... He did ask my plan after graduation. Today, I asked him the same question, about his plan after he got his PhD degree. Innocently and excitedly he answered, "Getting married!", and his smile was very funny when he told me this. I was like, "Huh?! Are you sure? and I laughed out loud. I thought it was only some desperate female undergraduate students would answer like this. When I asked his reason of taking PhD programme, he only said, "So I can get more dowry for marriage". Oh no!! This thing exists?! "You must be kidding me", I said. But he replied, "Hahaha... it's true!!" He loughed proudly.
